I’m Norm McCord. I am an undergraduate student pursuing a BBA in Information Security Assurance at Kennesaw State University. I hold current CompTIA Security+, Network+, and A+ certifications. My academic experience includes leading and contributing to small team on projects in technical writing, software acquisitions and project management. My personal projects have given me hands-on experience with SOHO networking setups and small-scale server management. My personal projects and studies have equipped me with a solid and growing foundation in IT and information security.
I also have over 20 years of experience in the military. There, I honed leadership and administrative skills by leading larger teams and managing high-value assets in various settings and locales. I have coordinated complex operations and ensured the seamless execution of missions. I have consistently delivered results in areas such as planning, process improvement, and resource management. Additionally, I possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, enabling me to effectively navigate dynamic situations and drive organizational success.
